Best Uriah Heep Song On Earth

Uriah Heep are but a shadow of their 70s heyday, but the band must still count as one of the most influential groups of their era. The band was formed by David Byron (vocals), Mick Box (guitar), Ken Hensley (keyboards), Paul Newton (bass) and Alex Napier (drums) in 1969. Driven by massively flamboyant frontman Byron, and with constantly shifting line-ups, Uriah Heep's unusual (for the time) hard rock sound was the next logical step from the music that had been made in the 60s, and the band ushered in the next decade with their massive album Very 'eavy... Very 'umble (1970). However, comprising one original member, Mick Box, Uriah Heep is still touring and performing at music festivals in the 10s to legions of devotees.
