Australian heavy rock titans, AC/DC, emerged fully formed in the mid-70s plying a riotous brand of unreconstructed good-time heavy rock, shifting hundreds of millions of albums to fans across the world. Despite the tragic death of talismanic lead singer Bon Scott, in 1980, the band recruited new singer, former-Geordie bawler Brian Johnson, and mourned Scott with the peerless Back In Black, which sold a staggering 45 million copies. Unaffected by the vagaries of fashion, or the passing of time, the band powered into the new millennium still selling out arenas across the world and celebrated their fifth decade by providing the soundtrack to the 2010 Hollywood blockbuster, Iron Man 2. They remain a phenomenon and are still renowned as one of the best live bands on the planet.
