One magnificent supergroup, one tasteless cover, one album, one tour; that’s all folks. Contrary to popular myth, they were very, very good; Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood found corners of the stage in which they could hide as they tried to shun the spotlight under which Cream and Traffic had put them. And that is why the fans rebelled. They wanted lots of Clapton guitar solos and another ‘Dear Mr Fantasy’. What they got was a collection that improves with age; a delightfully ramshackle ‘Well All Right’, a great Clapton song, ‘In The Presence Of The Lord’, and a sparse but powerful Winwood on ‘Can’t Find My Way Home’. The CD reissue includes two bonus tracks.

Tracks: Had To Cry Today; Can’t Find My Way Home; Well All Right; Presence Of The Lord; Sea Of Joy; Do What You Like; Exchange And Mart; Spending All My Days....
