Former lead singer of one of the UK’s most influential indie bands, The Stone Roses, Ian Brown has pursued an acclaimed solo career since the band’s break-up in 1996. His solo music has often contained a strong electronic element, a musical direction that has been emphasized by his collaboration with U.N.K.L.E., and his release of the remix album, Remixes Of The Spheres, in 2002. In 2007 Brown released the critically acclaimed The World Is Yours, which featured the unique and frenzied guitar work and drumming of Sex Pistols' backline Steve Jones and Paul Cook, as well as the controversial Illegal Attack which numbered Sinead O'Connor as one its vocalists. Two years later his sixth solo album, My Way, was released.
